A space trilogy
For SATB youth chorus and piano: this is a sequence of three atmospheric poems that capture the excitement and adventure of space, but also the loneliness and yearning of human beings far from home in the vastness.
Andromeda tells the dramatic story of her rescue by Perseus. The first two verses are delivered by the tenors and basses in a rap. approx 1m00s
Moonscape depicts the arid and lifeless landscape of the moon. It should sound a little detached, expressing a sense of estrangement, but also mournful - for it is about what the moon lacks. approx 1m30s
Ballad is about the sadness felt in leaving the earth behind to travel through space. It expresses the pull between home and away, as well as between progress, or exploration of the new, and the past. approx 1m45s

The price depends on the number of singers in your group.
This is a single payment for a licence to make as many copies as you
need for your group to rehearse and perform the song. You can also re-print
- for instance, to replace copies that get lost or worn out.
Copies must not be given, lent, hired or sold to any other group.
