Composer’s note

I came across this beautiful chant through a choral warm-up exercise taught by Gordon Franklin at Columbus State Community College, and immediately had visions of a more extended version of it. Here's the result - hopefully a mesmeric depiction of the ceaseless rhythm of the earth on its journey through space.
